Recipe Book

Hey everyone!!!

Happy Friday the 13Th!! Unlike some,I consider today to be a very lucky day. Well here goes my first craft tutorial of many. I am so excited!!This is the first step that will lead me on the path to my dream goal. :)

This past weekend for Mothers day I made this little book for a friend of mine :) I'm really into this grunge look right now and I am hoping to do a grunge rose tutorial next :) Have a fantastic weekend and go enjoy this beautiful spring weather!!

What I used:
- Chipboard ( cut 1/4 to 1/2 inch bigger then note cards)
- Note cards
- Prima Flowers
- Dew Drops ( center of flower)
- Binder Rings
- Glimmer Mist ( Tutti Fruiti)
- Tim Holtz Distress ink ( brushed corduroy and walnut stain)
- Tim Holtz Mask
- Tim Holtz Ink blending tool
- Stampin up ink spots
- Stampin up stamp set ( from the kitchen of )
- Ribbon

Your going to want to apply your mask anywhere on your chipboard that you like and ink it up. There is no right or wrong way so take that ink blending tool and swirl away ;)

Next you will ink up the edges of your note cards and add your coordinating stamps to the pages. I did eight in each section except for main dishes I did ten.I added tabs also, that I made from my cricut.

Next I layered some Prima flowers together and added a pink dew drop for the center accent. I found some bright colored ribbon to match and tied it around the binder rings that are going to hold your book together.

Put your book together and TADA you have a super adorable recipe book!!!!

Sorry this is not step by step as I was having camera issues >.< but all I can do is make improvements and get better at this blogging thing ;) If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask :)

Till Next Time,

Clumzy Me
